Pool Technician in HASSELT
We are currently looking for an experienced pool technician to join our team. As a pool technician, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of swimming pools.
The job
Your tasks
- Start-up of new pools and regular maintenance of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heating systems, water treatment systems and automation systems, heat pumps.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to pool equipment.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts.
- Monitor and adjust water chemistry to maintain optimum water quality.
- Inspect pool equipment for potential problems and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with customers to understand their needs and requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports on work performed and recommendations for future maintenance.

- Fully legal employment according to Belgian law among which social security, health insurance, building up the right for a Belgian pension
- Salary depends on the experience. Start salary around 17,50€ gross per hour.

- Refund of transport cost to Belgium up to 125€ after four work weeks
- End of year bonus - 8,33% of gross yearly salary
- Holiday bonus - 15,38% of gross yearly salary

Your profile
This is what you need
- Proven experience as a pool technician or similar position.
- Extensive knowledge of pool technology, including pumps, filters, heating systems, water treatment and automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
- Understanding of water chemistry and ability to analyze and adjust water quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be customer focused.
- Independence and ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Valid driver's license B.
