The job
Your tasks
As a "production line responsible" you are responsible for the smooth operation of a paint finishing line equipped with 15 machines:
- You set up different machines to achieve the requested result
- You constantly check the quality of the product and adjust the parameters of the machines where necessary
- You plan the optimal production sequence in function of the planning
- You maintain the machines on a regular basis and can also repair them if necessary
- You locate malfunctions on the machines to solve them yourself as much as possible
- You keep an eye on the stocks and report in time when extra material needs to be ordered
- You have one employee under your responsibility
- You are in close contact with the production managers and the management of the company

Your profile
This is what you need
- You have a sense of responsibility and also an eye for quality and safety
- You have experience in a production environment and PLC controlled production lines
- You have experience with spray painting, sanding or other surface finishing, preferably with wood
- You preferably followed a technical training towards mechanics or are equated by experience in mechanical work such as assembling and disassembling bearings, chains, gears, motors, ...
- You have an eye for details and can work efficiently to deliver quality work
- You speak English fluently
