The job
Your tasks
For our client in Pelt we are looking for a production worker in the coatings department.
Some of your duties include:
- You apply gelcoat on moulds of 2 to 100 m².
- Taking instructions, spray patterns, layer thicknesses, etc. into account.
- Taking viscosity and temperature into account regarding waiting time.
- You apply gelcoat in very thin layers to prevent air inclusions, sagging and pigment abstraction.
- You distribute the gelcoat with a brush in the right way to prevent differences in thickness and streaking.
- You ensure an even thickness and finish
- You ensure that the molds do not come into contact with hands, shoes, clothing, or other objects that can damage the mold
- You prepare, set, and clean the spraying machine
- You change the color of the gelcoat
- You resolve minor malfunctions on the spray machines

- Salary depends on the experience. Start salary around 16,25€ gross per hour.
