The job
Your tasks
For our customer in Pelt we are looking for a production employee in the coatings department.
A selection of your tasks:
- You apply gelcoat to molds from 2 to 100 m²
- You take into account instructions, spray patterns, layer thicknesses, ...
- You take into account viscosity and temperature regarding the waiting time
- You apply gelcoat in very thin layers to prevent air inclusions, sagging and pigment extraction
- You divide the gelcoat with a brush in the right way to o.a. to prevent thickness differences and streaking
- You ensure an even thickness and finish
- You ensure that the molds do not come into contact with hands, shoes, clothing or other objects that could damage the mold
- You prepare the sprayer, set it up and clean it
- You change the color of the gelcoat
- You solve minor malfunctions on the spraying machines

Offer
- Fully legal employment according to Belgian law among which social security, health insurance, building up the right for a Belgian pension
- Salary depends on the experience. Start salary around 16,25€ gross per hour.
