IMPACT founded

The story of IMPACT starts just before the turn of the century. As a general temporary employment agency with branches in Leuven and Neerpelt, IMPACT Interim is fully immersed in the war for talent. Less than a year later, a third branch with nine employees is opened in Geel.

IMPACT launches International Distance Matching

IMPACT introduces the Belgian labour market to International Distance Matching, a concept used to recruit specialised international staff for bottleneck professions.

Humares Groep becomes majority shareholder

IMPACT's steady growth and success in the first few years does not go unnoticed by Humares Groep. This leading international player, of which Maintec is a subsidiary, becomes the majority shareholder at the end of 2006. IMPACT continues to expand its focus from a general approach to a more specialised one.

Humares Groep becomes sole shareholder

With the IDM concept flourishing, IMPACT begins to expand internationally. In 2008, Humares becomes the sole shareholder with the aim of reinforcing Belgian growth ambitions.

Acquisition of TOP Interim with Eric Dantinne at the helm

IMPACT quickly emerges as one of the fastest-growing temporary employment agencies in Belgium. In late 2008, the company acquires TOP Interim, with four offices in Wallonia and one in Brussels. In June 2009, Eric Dantinne is appointed the new CEO.

Rebranding IMPACT Expertise Included

The three entities – IMPACT Interim, Maintec and Top Interim – are rebranded and merged to create IMPACT Expertise Included, with a focus on construction, technical and office experts. IMPACT enjoys considerable growth in the years that follow, particularly in these three specialised sectors.

NOVA Engineering expands activities in Belgium

Following the success of NOVA Engineering, which is active in the Netherlands under Humares Groep, the outsourcing expert opens a branch in Belgium as well. NOVA Engineering is geared towards engineers and highly educated technical professionals.

Bencis acquires IMPACT Expertise Included

Shareholder Humares Groep decides to sell IMPACT Expertise Included to the Dutch investment firm Bencis. The Polish branch of Maintec is also acquired, becoming IMPACT's first international office.

Gimv becomes majority shareholder

Bencis sells IMPACT Expertise Included to Gimv. The successful Belgian investment firm acquires a controlling interest in IMPACT and NOVA Engineering and becomes the majority shareholder and manager of IMPACT.

IMPACT acquires Talent Link

IMPACT celebrates its twentieth anniversary. With 23 offices in Belgium and one in Poland, it's become a permanent fixture on the temporary employment landscape. In March, Xpertise holding acquires Talent Link, becoming a one-stop shop that offers temporary employment (IMPACT), project sourcing (NOVA) and recruitment & selection (Talent Link).

IMPACT acquires majority share in Haldu Groep

IMPACT takes a crucial international step by becoming the majority shareholder of Haldu Groep, a temporary employment agency that specialises in outsourcing technical professionals. This acquisition helps IMPACT expand to the Dutch market.

IMPACT hits the 100 million euro turnover mark

After acquiring several standalone activities from DeGraaf, IMPACT hits the 100 million euro turnover mark. This figure aligns perfectly with the ambition of becoming the largest player in the Benelux in terms of temporary staff in the engineering and construction sector.

New look and feel

The new decade is kicked off with a sleeker logo and a crystal-clear baseline to reinforce IMPACT's ambitions. Thanks to the sharp story and more user-friendly website, the focus on finding the right candidates in construction, engineering, and office is even stronger.
