Am I entitled to holiday pay?
Of course, as a temporary worker you will also receive holiday pay, only the time of payment differs. Just as for permanent employees, it concerns single and double holiday pay. The single holiday pay is the pay you get for the days you are on holiday, the double holiday pay is an additional allowance on top of your wages.
There are some differences between white-collar and blue-collar temporary workers.
- You are a white-collar temp:
IMPACT will deposit a part of the single and double holiday pay on top of your wages every week, based on the work performed during that week. This is the holiday pay upon leaving, on the occasion of the end of contract, and is therefore an advance to the leave entitlement for the following year.
- You are a blue-collar temp:
The RJV will pay your holiday pay in full by bank transfer once a year. This will be in the year following the period you worked (± in May or June) in the same way as for permanent employees.
